Ms. Chavez 1st Grade

I am excited to begin this school year. First grade will be very interesting and exciting for all of us. We will learn new skills in academics and develop a strong educational and social foundation. I am an experienced teacher with a Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I have a BA in Child Development and a Masters in Education. I have over 15 years of teaching experience and I look forward to teaching your children as well as meeting new parents.  We are all settled in and are excited about all the fun and exciting new things we will be learning in school.

As your child First Grade Teacher, I want to involve you, as parents and guardians in our classroom discipline program. I have established the following rules, incentives and consequences in order to guarantee every child in my classroom the excellent educational climate he or she deserves.

Classroom Management is a key factor of any classroom. The students need to have a positive classroom atmosphere in order to succeed as a student.
